Frequently Asked QuestionsHere are some common questions and answers. Please read the Rules of Play for a full understanding of the terms and conditions of the BREATHE EASY raffle. And most importantly, please play responsibly.
Q: What is a 50/50 raffle?
A: In a 50/50 raffle, half of the ticket revenue goes to the winning ticket holder, and half goes to the benefiting charity. Traditionally, participants purchase physical tickets (which contain numbers), and there is a physical draw of the numbers to determine the winner. 50/50 raffles are especially popular at sporting events.
Q: How is the BREATHE EASY raffle different?
Unlike other raffles you may have participated in, this raffle is all electronic, which means that qualifying adults from all over Ontario can play and support the work of The Lung Association - Ontario together! Instead of physical tickets, you will be emailed your “numbers”.
